We recommend that the hirer has some sort accreditation i.e. IPAF however it is not a legal requirement and depending on the site you are working they may have their own rules.
Whether you are collecting the machine or having one delivered you will be asked if you are familiar with the machine if not our delivery drivers all have demonstrator IPAF qualifications and will be more than happy to give you a full run down. If you are self collecting a machine i.e. A CTe20 when you collect the machine one of our team will also demonstrate the machine so you are ready to work once on site. We do also have a 24 hour phone line with an experienced engineer / operator who will be more than happy to help you over the phone or com out to you at the first opportunity.
At eagle we are Covered up to £10 Million Public and £5 Million Employers liability (Some council demand this as a minimum)
At Eagle we never send a machine out without an up to date through examination report and certificate with any defects found machines will be taken out of use until repairs have been made
Again PDI’s are a legal requirement under IPAF hence this is completed before every hire.
Providing your cover is over the value for total loss of the machine then yes you policy will be fine. Once you place an order the office will need to take a copy of your certificate/schedule for future reference.
